SNN 2004: The DVD

March 16, 2005

MARYSVILLE, OH — SNN Video Productions has just announced the release of a full length DVD of the 2004 Carl Spackler Open Championship.  The DVD, simply entitled SNN 2004, contains just over one hour of footage, interviews and chicanery from last year?s tournament at Tanglewood Park.  A select few were privy to a private screening at the state-of-the-art SNN Video Productions studio.

?This is a very exciting time for us.  I told everyone at SNN that we?re going to openly challenge The Golf Channel for the top spot in the Golf News and Entertainment world, and this really puts the pressure on,? a beaming Carl Spackler exclaimed.  ?I just saw a private screening, and Jay Dilks was brilliant.  I?m so glad we didn?t settle for Johnny Miller.?

?SNN 2004 will definitely put us on the map.  I?m really proud of the work we?ve done on this project, it captured all the intensity, drama, and passion of tournament golf.  I?m really excited to get to work on all the things we have planned for 2005,? said Jay Dilks, SNN Vice President and SNN Anchorman.

When asked to give a critique of the film, Greg Long, Chairman and 2001 Champion, simply stated ?Bravo!? and Rick Dosky, CFO, said, ?I give it a thumbs up.  Way up.  I challenge anybody to get better coverage of an event of this magnitude.?  Tom Fowble, 2003 Champion and SNN Manager, said, ?There are a few technical surprises we introduced in the film that surpassed our wildest expectations.  The DVD takes a huge step forward from the video clips on the website.  I?m very pleased with the final result.?

The news release from SNN Video Productions reports that the DVD has an excellent menu with five chapters, including an Intro, coverage of all three rounds, and Credits, with special effects throughout.  The news release also reports that any player interested in obtaining a copy of SNN 2004 should send an email to Carl Spackler, at carl@carlspackleropen.com.
