The Carl Spackler Open does collect money during the event for various unexpected purchases. Exchanging money is embraced; however every cent must be tracked in the accounting books. There is no way a sober person will remember accounting line items two weeks after the event. Our financial officer, Rick Dosky, and Greg Long have small envelopes in our golf bags. Do not hand Rick Dosky money without an envelope. Golfers are expected to write their name, amount, and description of purchase on the envelope.
