LEBANON, OH — The #1 tournament in amateur golf, Carl Spackler Open, will get rockin in late June 2015. The Captains Club made some entertainment announcements on Monday night including an impressive Clubhouse Sports Grille in Monroe, OH.

"The Clubhouse Sports Grille has landed in the crowded Carl Spackler Open docket," says CFO of the Captains Club Rick Dosky. "The 'Clubhouse' is not the golf course clubhouse, but a neighborhood sports bar named 'Clubhouse'. We are excited about Monroe and the opportunities it provides us. The 'Welcome Party' on Thursday will include lots of plasma tv's, outdoor patio, fully stocked bar inside, trivia, live music, extensive food menu, and hopefully some eye candy serving up the drinks for everyone."

The Clubhouse Sports Grille is located just 1.2 miles or 25 minute walk from the hotel. A walk will not be require a participant to cross a street. "The Clubhouse is a perfect facility for our event," says Chairman of the Captains Club Greg Long. "It took less than 60 seconds inside the front door to come to that conclusion."

The grill serves burgers, wings, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and other entrees.

The casino and sports grille highlight two of the entertainment options for this year's participants. The 2015 Carl Spackler Open Championship is scheduled for June 25-28. There are 60 participants expected to participante in the 15th annual event.
