Virginia Beach Enters Field
Looking for Answers

January 23, 2006

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Trent Cooper is looking for answers. He returned to the 2006 Virtual Tournament hoping for much success and finds himself struggling through his first three rounds.

"Bogey golf is not acceptable," says Cooper. "This is just like every other year. I must take it up a level."

Trent posted 3 rounds already this year holding 4th position with 32.0 points per round. He opened the season with 93 strokes and 31 points at The Signature Course at West Neck. He returned this past weekend with similar results to the TPC of Virginia Beach and the new Cahoon Plantation.

"These guys are not showing the progress we expect," says Captains Club member Jason Watson. "It seems like the entire state of Virginia including Trent has fallen off the radar early."

Jean Dore of Virginia Beach, who nearly won the 2005 virtual tournament is averaging 21.3 points per round. Joe Butkus of Richmond is averaging only 32.1 points per round.

The 2006 Virtual Tournament nearly has its first month in the history books. Currently Scott Zavinski holds 1st position.
