The Quack is Back

August 15, 2011

TERRA ALTA, WV — The surgically repaired right knee of the reigning DeQuackathon winner, Jeff Quackenbush, appears to be well healed!  Quack recently tested the bionic knee during a recent trip to St. Louis.

Playing with borrowed clubs and shoes, Quack went out and lit up the prestigious Glen Echo Country Club course with an 85.  Jeff "Guy" Moore, who played with Quack, was not impressed.  "Hell, I shot a 93 on that goat ranch!"

Even more impressive than cramming his size 11's into borrowed size10ski's (no, not that Sizetenski), was Quack's play over the last 3 holes, making up 4 shots and earning a well deserved "push" with Guy.  (allowing for handicap's of course)

Quack's playing partners rumored attempts to recruit him to the "Brew Crew" were quickly squashed when Quack asked if he could substitute Coke Zero instead of beer on the odd holes.

On a side note, Cane shot a 91, and Brent was too busy to play with Quack.
