Tournament Winner

An award will be presented to both the Champion and Runner-up in the MELC Championship competition. Each Loozer scores MELC points for birdies, pars, bogeys, etc based on golfing ability. Bonus MELC points can be scored on each hole for the longest putt made. MELC points are assigned based on summer golf scores, previous Golfapalooza scores and/or reported handicap. During the scramble round, MELC points will be computed based on the combined summer golf scores, previous Golfapalooza scores and/or reported handicap of both scramble team members. The winner will be the Loozer accumulating the most MELC points over the three Golfapalooza rounds. Winner Requirements: None Tiebreaker: In the event of a tie for either first or second place, the winner will be determined by both Loozers replaying hole number 2 for MELC points until the tie is broken. Each Loozer must consume a shot of Jagermeister prior to each stroke played. The tie will be broken AFTER the official totals have been calculated back at the cabin. As such, the two most recent Green Jacket winners shall caddy for the tiebreaker. Award: Traveling Trophy (Champion Only) and Cash
