TERRA ALTA, WV — Over the last three years, GStan and Fun Dan have been able to navigate their way thru the Doubles Cornhole brackets and emerge victorious, even after FunDan almost passed out and kept falling over last year.  As they prepare for yet another title defense, the 3x champs acknowledged that there are several teams that pose a threat to their titles.  GStan noted, "Obviously we always have to be wary of any team that includes 8x singles champ JT (paired with Chef this year), and there are some people and teams that have greatly improved over the last year."  Dan chimed in, "Yeah, Spyder has been throwing the bags of his life lately, and this year, he gets paired with rookie Shane, who has been battle tested during the years in the Powell 'hood."

When asked about this year's strategy, all Spyder replied was, "More moonshine for Danny Boy."

The doubles tournament is a double elimination tournament that will start Thursday evening.  As a reminder, the Doubles Tournament is part of the Calcutta Auction.  Owning one of the members of the winning team wins you 7.5% of the total Calcutta pot.
