Hole in One

CHIEFLAND, FL — The second hole-in-one was recorded by Matt Munksgard last Sunday at Chiefland CC in Florida.  He made the eagle on the 8th hole during the final round of the club member guest tournament.

"I was just excited," says Munksgard.  "I used 5-iron from 180 yards.  It started a great streak of birdies on the backnine."

Matt shot 1-under par with his eagle on Sunday.  He currently leads the 2005 On Tour Championship with 43.2 points per round.  He also hosts the best handicap on the website.

The last and only recorded hole-in-one in Spackler history was on June 19, 2002.  That eagle was submitted by Greg Long at Cumberland Trail.

The leaderboard continues to grow with many top players from all around the United States.  Jay Dilks continues to put pressure on Matt and hopes to take the lead soon.  Jean Dore continues to struggle in last place.
