State Trooper on Board

WARREN, PA — Brian Zeybel has signed very late as an alternate to the 2006 Carl Spackler Open Championship. He signs with just 16 days left before the tournament.

"He is a Pennsylvania State Trooper Detective pursuing the most heinous crimes in and around Warren County," says Captains Club member Mike Davis.  "He is known in close circles to make his own wine and likes partaking in the consumption of his own personal homemade remedy "Homemade Dandelion Wine."  If in fact he consumes too much, he has been known to reach back into Mr. Porcelain and partake in his regurtitated meal."

Zeybel is also a very well known wood carver, carving many products in contract with Cabela's. The very proficient bow hunter better be attacking the defenseless pins at The Neuse like he attacks defenseless animals.

"Brian has now become infatuated with golf and is slowly turning heads with his impressive game after just two years on the course," said Gumby. "His odds in Vegas are that he will be a yearly nominee for the Horses' Ass Award rather than the Golden Jacket."

The 2006 Carl Spackler Open Championship has returned to 63 players in the field. Zeybel signs as the 17th player to represent Pennsylvania.
