Tournament Fee: $359

November 1, 2007

WESTERVILLE, OH — Rock Hollow Golf Club will host the 2008 Carl Spackler Open Championship. Rick Dosky announced the required tournament fee on behalf of the Captains Club Wednesday night from his new home in Columbus, OH.

"I HAVE MOVED!" shouted Rick Dosky in an ear piercing fashion. "DO NOT SEND CHECKS TO GROVE CITY. [pause] I apologize for screaming, but I think it is necessary with online banking payees very common."

Rick Dosky moved to Columbus, OH last May after updating his new mailing address online. Dosky continued with the tournament fee announcement.

"The cost for the 54-hole tournament is once again extremely affordable," said Chief Financial Officer, Rick Dosky. "With group size, anything is possible. Our required fee of $359.00 is very consistent with our last seven years while adding services and entertainment year after year. I am very pleased with our budget and its flexibility."

The record-high tournament fee is expected initially to be considered very high based on previous tournaments. "We had a great opportunity this year and have decided 'all values' must be realized," said Rick Dosky from his home in Columbus, OH. "We have added unprecedented services, lodging, and entertainment to this year's package. Our office is simply stunned at the values throughout our package."

Inflation continues each year at 4 percent and suggests a tournament fee closer to $385-$390. "I think our ability to keep the tournament fee well below affordable is something to be excited about," Dosky added. "This is easily the best value in the history of our tournament."

The package includes range balls each day before play. It also includes, but not limited to $3,000+ in prizes and giveaways, 6 meals, shuttle service, complimentary happy hours, indoor pool, thousands of snacks, queen size beds, all-you-can-bowl, pool tables, live music, record-low food and beer prices, foosball table, air hockey table, 3 rounds with cart at Rock Hollow Golf Club, and 4 nights at the Best Western Circus City.

Randon Mineweaser asked, "What does shuttle bus mean?" Dosky replied, "We are still finalizing our shuttle package, but 20 hours of nightly service is included in the tournament fee." Mineweaser replied, "Taxis like last year?" Dosky replied, "No. A bus. We are also finalizing service to/from the golf course inside the tournament fee." Mineweaser asked, "Free!?" Dosky said, "Yes." Randy asked, "How do I get a seat on that bus?" Dosky replied, "Transportation is not my responsibility. I should not even be talking about details outside finances. I will have transportation hold a press conference when you are financially part of the tournament field."

The entry fee will be $120 per player, which is non-refundable, non-transferable, and reserves you a spot in the talented field of players. The winner's prize has not yet been determined, however Golden Jacket, Horses Ass Trophy, Kitchen Pass Award and Championship Trophy will return.

"We are seizing a tremendous opportunity once again to eliminate 'too much money' as a reason to skip this year's tournament," said Dosky. "I am more than satisfied with this year's fee and the overall budget."

The tournament size is capped this year and expected between 64-74 golfers. The tournament fee plus additional options will provide a tournament budget between $26,000 and $31,000.

Tournament registration officially begins in two weeks with $120 non-refundable non-transferable deposits. A 'first-ever' tournament cap is expected to be announced in about a week. Registration will be open until the cap is reached or December 28. Although full tournament details will not available for two weeks, checks can be mailed to Rick Dosky as early as today.
