HOLLYWOOD, CA — Craig Williams signed last December 2007 to play golf at the 2008 Carl Spackler Open Championship at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, IN. CFO Rick Dosky announced today that the rookie is very excited to be a part of a well-respected championship and such a talented field.

"It's an honor and a privilege to be invited to a tournament with as much prestige and with one that carries such an incredibly talented field as this one," said Williams. "I am really looking forward to the challenge of playing in a major tournament, and to be truthful, this is my favorite of all the majors. It would mean something special to me to play well in it, especially in front of Mr. Spackler himself."

"This guy has all the tools," says Don Creighton of the Captains Club. "He is a guy coming to the tournament that everyone will be watching, because they know that he can contend for the title immediately. I would not be a bit surprised to see him finish in the top five."

"Definitely a contender," added Pat Boland. "He is strong with the flat stick, and good with the irons, the wedges, and the driver. He does not have one weakness in his game. The only thing missing is multiple major tournament experiences, and he will unquestionably get that this year."

Craig Williams signs as the 55th player and the 2nd player to represent the state of California. The first round of tournament play is scheduled to begin in 65 days.
