POWELL, OH — Butter Flanagan stepped to the podium at the Golfapalooza press conference and uttered these famous words: "I'm mailing the letters by this weekend; please leave me alone!" And so begins the process building up this year's Golfapalooza event (GVIIII in Roman numerals according to Butter). GVIIII looks to be the biggest event in the nine-year history of this outing. Grundo Magruder is so fired up for this year's event he'll be playing twice over the next ten days. "I'm really looking forward to GVIIII," Magruder said today. "I've missed hanging out with Spraguer, Gus, Watson, and the rest of the greater Columbus area the last couple years. I've heard that the Euchre tournament has not happened in two years. That will change this year, although Todd and I are going to win again so don't get your hopes up."

Initial deposits are due by June 15th. Apparel will be available again this year in a yet to be determined color by "Greek Eye for the Straight Guy" Gus Sokos. Stay tuned for further info leading up to this year's outing.
