Garrett Ready for Open

January 24, 2002

HILLIARD, OH — Greg Garrett, a Golfapoolza golfer, has signed a national letter of intent to play at 2002 Open this season.

"I think Greg will make an immediate impact on our team," rookie Brian Flanagan said. "He is going to play a lot next year. He's mentally tough, and he works out seven days a week. I'm looking forward to seeing his 260 yard three wood."

Greg added a note to his letter of intent.  "I'm looking to make an immediate impact.  Something tells me that I just need to allow half the field to knock themselves out of the tournament.  Then I will go in for the kill."
