GALLOWAY, OH — The 2007 Carl Spackler, Mark Wray, has continued on the path of failure with his latest round at Bent Tree Golf Club. The 39 point effort verified that his golf game is still outfit worthy.

"He has not been the same since getting his arm banged up," says Jason Ridgeway speaking of the lone golf cart crash in Michigan. "I am starting to think he needs to insert June 7 into his health setback profile for fair handicapping."

"Six pars is not enough," said Wray after his round. "Zero birdies is unacceptable and mind-boggling even with one arm."

Wray played the sometimes difficult Bent Tree Golf Club, but from just 6,239 yards that causes enormous concerns. "He needs to move back where he is more comfortable," says Mike Davis. "Playing short yardages as a low handicapper is suicide." The round was worth just 10 course bonus points.

The 13-over 85 was two strokes better than his previous round at Shelby Country Club in May where he shot 87. "The two worst rounds in over a year," said Wray of his sudden struggles. "I got kind of nervous as a rookie, but now unable to shake off the cart wreck and hacking."

Wray opened the 2007 Virtual Tournament with 63.7 points per round. The better than average play secured a position in the Top 10. The latest debacles has plummeted Wray an estimated 30 to 35 spots downward on the Leaderboard into 43rd position.

In other news, Brian Long scored 71 points during the 4th of July. The round vaulted him upward into 14th position. Kyle Marti entered the 2007 Virtual Tournament over the holiday in 13th position.
