SNOWSHOE, WV — The Captains Club continued to release details surrounding the participant options for the 2013 Carl Spackler Open. The process, which is available in March 2013, will collect lots of information including apparel orders. This year's apparel choices include caps, shirts, umbrellas, and wind shirts/jackets.

The traditional cap option returns for a 8th straight year. "The event will offer caps again this year," says senior member Jason Ridgeway. "Golfers can order a replacement cap. They can also order a black or white cap. Guys who have attended at least three events can purchase a blue cap." Caps will be priced at $10 each.

The event still has a half dozen logo umbrellas in stock. The event will offer logo umbrellas at a rock bottom price of $10 per umbrella. Each colored umbrella has logo on one panel.

The event placed a golf shirt order last year that consisted of 75 pieces. There are a dozen logo shirts remaining in inventory. Shirts are available within the participant option process for $18 each while supplies last. The remaining sizes on March 1 were large, extra large, and extra extra large.

The Captains Club will be purchasing logo wind shirts/jackets for the first time in 7 years. "This is your opportunity to order a wind shirt or two," says Ridgeway. "The North End wind shirts are water-resistant and will be offered in long-sleeve, short-sleeve, and vest." The DuPont Teflon fabric protection repels water and dries quickly.

"The sample wind shirts are excellent," says Chairman of the Captains Club, Greg Long. "There are multiple colors with logo on the breast. I will probably order 3 just for myself. The shirts are a very affordable $27 per vest, $29 for short sleeve, and $32 for long-sleeve."

The participant option process will be available to golfers during the month of March. There are a number of options with some having fees involved and some preference options with no fees. A collection of roommate and foursome partners preferences will be completed as part of the process.
