SNOWSHOE, WV — "My uncle says you've got a screw loose," Lacey Underall said to Ty Webb. Along with Ty, Trent Cooper and Jason Ridgeway think her uncle molests collies and "salmon" golf shirts are high profile.

On behalf of Trent Cooper, Jason Ridgeway awarded Gerald Hench with the 2013 Lacey Underall Sash. The "Cookie Monster" pants, dozen unique hats, and prettiest shirts resulted in the prize.

"If Trent Cooper's Mom would have let him out to play this weekend, he would have been here to distribute the sash himself," said Jason Ridgeway. "I believe distribution of our sash requires a candidate to be prettier than our prettiest. Gerald Hench met that requirement with ease."

Trent Cooper won the inaugural Ms. Lacey Underall sash, ear rings, and crown at the 2008 Carl Spackler Open by a landslide. Cooper returned to the 2009 Carl Spackler Open with his pink logo hat and ready to start creating a team of "pretty boys".

Cooper quickly ruled out the Boland's, Long's, Mineweaser, and Tim Davis. He narrowed down his list to Mike Davis, a.k.a. Gumby, and Jason Watson.

Jason Watson eventually won the Award due to his daily color matching underwear. He wore the sash and crown and received a pink logo baseball cap.

"He truely earned it," says senior member Jean Dore. "He has been dressing too pretty for too long. His underwear and 'Paula Creamer shoes' must be recognized as part of the tournament. Cooper has done well."

Trent Cooper arrived to Mountain Valley in 2011 with expections that nobody would be worthy. He was wrong as Json Ridgeway and his wardrobe became worthy.

Cooper was asked for his thoughts on the future of the award. "This is going to be presented to only the prettiest of golfers," said Cooper. "We are not just going to hand it out because it needs to be distributed every year. I am looking for someone that earns it. Watson, Ridgeway, and Gerald Hench are great adds to my team of pretty boys. It is almost time to title our group, process a logo, and build an org chart."

The 2013 Carl Spackler Open is now in the books. Preparations for the 2014 Open will begin in July. Scouting in North Carolina, Indiana, Ohio, Florida, and Tennessee are expected.
