Beverage Prices Set

BARNESVILLE, PA — On behalf the Captains Club, Jay Dilks and Dave Osborne continued to release details surrounding the 17th Major Championship scheduled for July in Pennsylvania. Osborne gladly took the responsibility of releasing financials surrounding alcohol and general beverage at Mountain Valley Golf Course.
The price of a domestic beer has returned to a record low," said with a big smile. "The price per beer will be $2.00 and the same as we have experienced for the majority of our events." Mountain Valley will provide thousands of beverages using beverage carts and clubhouse throughout the week.
"My two cases of beer remains under $100," said a delighted Jay Dilks. "The beverage cart girls should be happy with our consumption."
The players are expected to consume more than 2,000 beers over the 96 hour party. Yuengling, the oldest brewery in America, is located at the bottom of the mountain. Aproximately half of the participants will file into the brewery on July 13 for a tour.
Mountain Valley will also provide lots of non-alcoholic beverages.
"The cost of beer will remain regardless of time of day," says Osborne. "We actually secured 77 pitchers of beer for Wednesday night. We also have secured two beverage carts for the Skills Challenge Contest."
The 2017 Carl Spackler Open signed 79 golfers before experiencing two cancellations in April and May. The event is expecting 77 golfers. Golfers will begin to arrive July 11 for the Wednesday practice rounds.
