Kitchen Passes Sturn
March 17, 2002
GROVE CITY, OH — The kitchen pass is not always the easiest thing to achieve; especially when the wife is expecting in two weeks. Rick Dosky knows this all to well as he tries to balance life On Tour and life at home.
"I am really excited about the Open Championship, The Colonial and the field of players", said Dosky. "I asked for these kitchen passes eleven months ago and really did not know if they would stand firm. I am really looking forward to a wonderful weekend." Rick will know whether the passes are still valid in just 32 days as the 2nd annual Carl Spackler Open will begin play in Williamsburg, VA.
Rick Dosky, a rookie for 2002, received a special exemption to the Captains Club last summer when he was announced as the tournaments Chief Financial Officer. "It really was a big deal to the club and what an outstanding job has been done since late October", said CEO Jamie Myers. "Granted he is a hacker, but no one should hold that against him."
Rick Dosky is one of seven players coming from the state of Ohio. He plans to be on hand for a Wednesday practice round and clinic on budgeting and financial planning on Wednesday evening. Rick is the worst golfer in the field as he will receive one point for a triple bogey. Expect Rick to be ready to play golf in four weeks and possibly make a run at glory.
