TERRA ALTA, WV — The Founding Fathers announced the scorecard deadline on Monday with Golfapalooza X starting Thursday at noon. The reminder poured through media outlets around the world.

"Our ultimate deadline for scorecards is tommorrow evening," said member Jeff Blankenburg on behalf of the Founding Fathers. "Anything prior to 9:00PM will most likely be too late. Official handicaps will be announced shortly afterwards."

Butter, Carder, Schoellmann, Marshall, Slick and Brent Kaniecki used this past weekend to add a scorecard to their handicaps. "Things are really turning around for me," said Butter Flanagan. "I am either in the woods or gunning for par. The tee box is a very key stroke right now and when it's good; it's lethal."

Blankenburg has been quietly practicing this summer in hopes of his first MELC championship. His last round at Springvale poured in 54 points and just 4-over par. "I am a dominant force going into mid-September," said Blankenburg. "I am not going to mess with a good thing. Other guys might play golf, but I am going to waste these great rounds."
