The Clarion Inn is scheduled as the choice hotel to host the 2006 Carl Spackler Open Field. The hotel due to its close proximity to a plethora of entertainment options in downtown Raleigh.

The Raleigh-Durham airport is a short 15 drive to the hotel. In the heart of downtown Raleigh ($35-$40 cab ride), the hotel is a short 25 minute drive from the golf course. The Captains Club has bus transportation to and from the course to ensure a pickled field gets to and from the course safely.

The hotel offers free parking which is a great option as the cars driven to the hotel should not leave their spots once the hotel is reached. All entertainment options are within walking distance from the hotel. Although Raleigh is a city, the blocks to and from the variety of watering-holes are not true city blocks.

Check-in time is 3:00PM EST. If your room is ready, you may check-in very early. Early check-in's are not guaranteed and should not be expected. The Clarion Hotel will store your luggage while you play the practice round.

All attendees will not receive a key for the room without a personal credit card. Your room + taxes is paid, however all damages, phone calls, room service and pay movies are your responsibility.
