Rooms, Roomates & Pairings

The following is an explanation regarding roommates and golf pairings for the Carl Spackler Open. Participant preferences were collected from the option selector in March 2012 and reviewed.

PAIRINGS
The daily golf pairings are not finalized until you have a pairing sheet in your hand. There are rounds of golf on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, Friday morning, Friday afternoon, and Saturday. All pairings for all rounds are built starting with the rookies and their top preference. The rest of the pairings are based on the thousands of preferences collected and then moved around for pace of play reasons.

Pairings for the final round on Saturday are set based on reverse leaderboard order through Round 2. Exactly like the PGA Tour with the exception of Chris Philipsen and Greg Garrett who will play first and score the tournament off the 18th green.

There are no guaranteed pairings for anyone attending with one exception. All rookies will play with their referral at least once. All Top 2 preferences selected within the March participant option process have been met.

ROOMS, BEDS, & ROOMMATES
Rookies are assigned to their top preference. All other roommates are paired up using Tuesday night reservations, best interests of the collective group, and suggestions provided by the participants.

There are 50 rooms with two queen beds.
