Conklin Players Club

Conklin Players Club is located just off I-81 on the PA/NY border in Conklin, NY.

The golf course is privately owned by a married couple, who live off the 9th tee in house that looks exactly like a smaller Luxor Casino in Las Vegas. She runs the clubhouse, he designed course, and her brother does the maintenance. The feel is very similar to our 2008 venue (Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, IN).

The course conditions are expected to be between "extremely nice" and "best ever played on" depending on golfer experience. The owners take pride in the conditions. These conditions are possible with very strict cart rules. The owners do not post signs (and hang ropes) to keep carts on paths. They have 6 inch curbs, post signs, and cause GPS sirens to go off in the clubhouse and on the golf cart when a golfer is breaking rules. Golf carts with GPS layouts and yardages are permitted in fairways where designated.

This golf course has the smallest practice putting green in the history of the Carl Spackler Open.

There are three 7th holes at Conklin Players Club. 7a, 7b, 7c. There are two greens and three different teeing locations. The 54-hole tournament will be played from all 3 teeing locations and both greens. The practice round on Wednesday will consist of 19 holes. One teeing location will not be played on Wednesday.

The back tee yardage (blue) is 6,772 yards. The next tee up (white) is 6,128 yards. The tenative tournament yardage includes playing 8 holes from the white tee (2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 17) and remaining holes from the blue tee. 6,459 yards. The seniors would play the white tee for all 18 holes.

Southwest corner is waaay up in the air. Hole 16 green & Hole 17 tee. Playing golf west means you are going uphill. Playing golf east means you are going downhill. Hole 6 goes north gradually downhill. Hole 7 goes south and gradually uphill.
