Long Putts
The longest putt made on each hole receives long putt points. (1) Fringe putts and short chips do not count. (2) The putter must fit between the ball and the hole to be valid. The shortest putter in the group is not able to be used for measurement. (3) Long putts cannot be longer than its previous putt. (4) Golfers cannot three-putt or worse and receive long putt points.
Mark your distance proactively and putt when partners are raking bunkers or not on the green ready to play. PLEASE DO NOT PHYSICALLY MEASURE PUTTING DISTANCES FOR TWO PLAYERS TO DETERMINE WHO GETS LONG PUTTS PRIOR TO PUTTING. Please use visual judgement and mark putt distance if putt is made. Physically measure distances when both golfers make putts.
A player scoring zero points on a hole should place a ball on the fringe furthest from the hole and attempt to score long putt points.
