CLAYTON, NC — The 2006 Virtual Tournament is taking a major back seat this week to the 2006 Carl Spackler Open Championship. Sixty-four of the seventy-five golfers registered are in Clayton, NC competing for the Golden Jacket and the Carl Spackler Outfit.

The tournament scoring can be found by click JUNE 8TH TRIP off the navigation bar.

"Little to zero scorecards this week," says Captains Club member Kevin Long, Jr. "The guys plan to return next week with plenty of Virtual Tournament fire. For now, it is a big party at our national championship."

The season-long tournament has 51 golfers on the Leaderboard with Scott Zavinski out in front of everyone. Jean Dore is in last place with Virginia Beach participants hugging the bottom of the board.

Golfers return on Sunday with probably no high volume of scorecard entries until a week after the US Open.

The Virtual Tournament is nearly half complete with a long hot summer just starting. The Captains Club is expecting 66 or more golfers on the Leaderboard by years end.
