Vegas Releases GVI Odds

WHEELING, WV — Las Vegas bookmakers, driven by public demand to bet on top amateur golf events such as Golfapalooza and the Carl Spackler Open, have released opening odds for the Golfapalooza 2002 Individual Medalist award. Casino owner Mo Green in a public statement said "the gamblers have been driving us absolutely crazy wanting to know when they will be able to bet on Golfapalooza. We researched and handicapped the field and this will be the year. I am very excited about this."
