Times & Itinerary

The official event starts on Thursday, April 15 @ 11:00AM at South Padre Island Golf Club with access to the practice range. The event concludes with the Awards Dinner & Presentation on Sunday, April 18 @ 7:00PM at Bayside Cafe.

The trip itinerary is available online by clicking CALENDAR. The evenings are entirely based on pace of play at the golf course. The pace of play target is a maximum of 5 hours. The itinerary is based on 5 1/2 hours for 18 holes. The itinerary is pushed back depending on pace of play. Please use common sense when reviewing the evening itineraries on the daily pairing sheets.

There are 1 1/2 hours of tee times when the entire tournament tees from Hole 1. This 3-hour window (1 1/2 hours of tee times and 1 1/2 hours of finishing) of golfing time allows plenty of time for the tournament to get organized, practice, eat, take pictures, socialize, and score the tournament. The beer at the course is less expensive than the island.

Friday morning is jam packed with events requiring 100 percent attendance. Please follow the daily pairing sheets and be early or on-time.

The traditional itinerary is being shifted in 2010 with a goal of spending lots of beach time on Saturday, April 17, 2010. The 4-man Scramble has been pushed forward in the traditional sequence and will be played after Round 1. The top priority on Saturday is golf, however a secondary goal to finish golf and be on the beach by 2:30PM CST.
