Snakes

There are 14 kinds of venomous with 116 different kinds of snake in Texas. With the exception of Tom McCauley... leave the snakes alone. The copperhead, cottonmouth, rattlesnake, and coral snake are the snakes that can kill you.

The golf course does not carry snake venom. They instruct golfers to call 911 immediately if bit.

This is an informative note and not intended to scare. The golf course relocates all snakes once reported. The chances of anyone seeing any form of snake are slim.

Snakes like tall grass, dead laying wood, rock, or debris piles where they can hide and prey on rodents. Take care along creek banks and underbrush. Snakes do not prey on humans and they will not chase you.
