There is a team bowling tournament scheduled for Wednesday night at Homer's Sports Bar. Kevin Long and Matt Davis will be managing the tournament brackets and schedule throughout the evening. The finals will be played on Thursday night.

Everyone has unlimited bowling on Wednesday night on unused tournament alleys.

FORMAT
There are 20 alleys. There are teams of 4 or 5 participants. Teams are put together using handicaps collected in the participant options. This will be a single elimination bracketed bowling tournament.

RULES
(1) Total team scores for 10 frames for each team of 5.

(2) Total team scores for 10 frames for each team of 4 plus the average score of the group.

(3) A player has until frame 5 to show up for the match. If a player shows up before frame 5 is over, then the player can be added and bowl all 10 frames.

(4) If a player doesn't show up for the match, the total team score will be used only. Teams with four will not be awarded the extra player average defined in rule 2.

(5) Accidential foot faults are allowed.

(6) Foot faults on purpose will be scored per Matt Davis tournament bowling rules in Pittsburgh.

(1) What time do I need to be there?  8:30PM EST

(2) What time do I need to be there if I win the first game? A schedule will be posted in the bar.

(3) How do I know who is on my team? A team list will be posted in the bar. It is also in the notebook.

(4) How is this thing scored? total of 5 scores. If a team does not have 5 team members, then the 4 score average will be added to the 4 scores. Someone missing a team mate will not get that bonus.

(5) How are you determining the winner? Single elimination bracket.

(6) How are handicaps going to be used? Teams were put together using general skill. No other handicapping will be used.

(7) Can I bring my own bowling shoes? yes

(8) Where and how do I get bowling shoes? Ask the bar.

(9) What happens if I cannot be there on time? You can be added in up to the 5th frame with a good excuse.

(10) What do I win? Trophy

(11) Do I need to know how to score a bowling game? No

(12) How do I know which lane to bowl? Kevin or Matt Davis will tell you. It will also be on the posted schedule.

(13) I just lost my first game in the bowling tournament. Can I play with some other guys? Where? Other open lanes. See posting tournament lanes on the schedule.

(14) What happens if the bar runs out of shoes?  Use your golf shoes. Soft spikes please.
