ASHTABULA, OH — A mandatory tournament player's meeting is scheduled for 9:30am on Thursday, June 12.  The meeting will be held in the cottage area and breakfast will be served for the duration.  The required meeting will take approximately 60 minutes and then players will immediately leave for the golf course.

"This meeting will cover many things including opening statements, rules, giveaways, golf course information, awards, 2003 rule changes, scoring, tee times, etc", said Chairman Greg Long.  "Players that plan to skip the meeting will definitely be missing out and should plan to attend."  The meeting will start promptly at 9:30 as the meeting is packed full of information.

The Carl Spackler Open is scheduled to begin in 9 days.  Kyle Marti was seen Saturday in the local Kmart buying up the last pocket-size notebook for the Wednesday practice round.  Everything appears to be ready for the 2003 major.
