BUFFALO, NY — Slick fired a 77 on Saturday afternoon even with a qualruple bogey on #3.  This score coming only 3 days before the 2003 Carl Spackler Open.  Rick Dosky and Greg Garrett attended this last chance to get the game in shape for next week.  Mike Watkeys also played for the 1st time this year.  "I really like my new driver", said Watkeys.  "This golf stuff isn't as hard this year."

In other news, Barry Cedarquist signed a letter of intent and paid in full on Saturday.  "We have been hearing rumors for the past 45 days, but we got his check today", said Dosky.  "The Captains Club is glad they found a round 32 players for this major championship.

Barry Cedarquist is a rookie and third player to represent New York state.  Barry is the 4th best golfer by straight handicap in the field.  "I just love the fact when Troj told me you guys had room for me", said Barry.  "This tournament looks like fun."
