ASHTABULA, OH — Brian Flanagan won the Kitchen Pass Award this past weekend with style along with the 2003 Stroke Award.  These two honors were given to him one night before leaving on an early flight to the beach to see his family.

Flanagan planned to send his family in the van from Columbus, OH to the beach in North Carolina while he went to Madison, OH to win a major championship last week.  Brian met his family after flying one way from Cleveland to Norfolk, VA and obtaining a shuttle to the beach.

"My pregnant wife really wanted to spend quality time with the three girls", said Flanagan.  "What else can I say, but a major championship like Spackler ranks up there with my family."  Brian placed 4th with 90 points within a field of 32 players.  Brian then left the player housing early Sunday morning around 5:30am to catch a flight to Norfolk.

"This new award was so easy to give out this year", said Pokey.  "I hope they are always this easy, but then again, I hope everyone can obtain the kitchen pass like Flanagan.  He should be a model in my magazine."
