CHOCOWINITY, NC — The Captains Club announced today that the selection period for the second set of participant options is now open. The options will collect playing partner preferences, roommate preferences, texting setup, volunteers, and begin collecting personal transportation plans.

"Our immediate need is to further setup a brand new group texting program," said Chairman of Captains Club Greg Long. "We are also ready to collect roommate preferences, player preferences, volunteers, and share transportation schedules."

"This is the second of three participant option collections," added Greg Long. "We will collect a third set of participant options in May 2023."

Participants are reminded that roommate selections must include five golfers. Adding further roommate preferences is contributing to the success of the event. Rookies must provide at least 5 roommates, however their first ranked preference will be used.

The 2023 Carl Spackler Open will be held at Cypress Landing Golf Course in Chocowinity, North Carolina. There are 84 golfers expected to participate. The golf course is expected to have white staked hazards and Par 3 drop zones for the first time in several years. The deadline for outstanding balances is April 15, 2023.
