Cutter Creek Available June 7

SNOW HILL, NC — Cutter Creek Golf Club is the centerpiece of our masterfully-planned 634-acre community in the heart of Eastern North Carolina. The Captains Club announced it has contacted Cutter Creek and has added it to the 2023 Carl Spackler Open venue list for June 7.
Both Cutter Creek are in rare company as possibilities to host a future major championship, says Chairman of the Captains Club Greg Long. Our event must return to North Carolina after being absent for 17 years. These hidden gems are great opportunities for availability and golf course quality.
Cutter Creek is arguably the best golfing experience east of Interstate 95 to the Outer Banks. The designer, Bob Moore, has designed other targeted courses such as Chapel Ridge outside of Pittsboro, North Carolina.
From the tips, it stretches 7,300-yards, but Moore has provided five sets of tees to make it playable for golfers of every skill level, with rolling fairways, significant elevation changes, mounding and stimulating water holes.
"This golf course is conditioned better than Metamora Fields, which I didn't think was possible," says Chairman of the Captains Club Greg Long. "The layout was mostly flat, but very good. It is a real treat to play and cannot say enough about the conditions of everything."
The 2023 Carl Spackler Open has a list of golfers that include Cutter Creek Golf Club in North Carolina, Juliette Falls in Florida, and Boulder Creek Golf Club in Ohio. The date is unknown and so is the actual venue. An announcement is expected prior to November.
