Everyone should be aware of the mountain range between I-81 and Amherst/Lynchburg, VA.  Everyone using I-81 and I-64 from Beckley, WV should add 15 minutes to their trip to get over the mountain.

The city of Lynchburg and town of Amherst both have Route 29 and Route 29 Business. Understanding that both of these roads exist will help you navigate. Participants use Route 29 to travel between Amherst and Lynchburg. The Quality Inn is located off Route 29 Business.

The written directions supplied in the notebook will save you a few minutes. The proper roads are most likely newer than your GPS software or map.
