There are two bars/restaurants 275 yards across Odd Fellows Road, which is adjacent to the hotel. One is very large country music bar (Cattle Annies) and the other is smaller with a deck (Big Lick Tropical Bar). The hotel-looking facility between Cattle Annies and the Quality Inn is owned by Liberty University for student housing. There were multiple police cars patroling the area during our scouting trip.

CATTLE ANNIES
This facility is very large and broken up into sections including the largest dance floor in the state of Virginia, a game room with several pool tables, restaurant area, and bar. The facility probably holds 1,500 patrons on a good night. There is a dress code. Cattle Annies is primarily a country music and entertainment business.

There is 'country line dancing lessons' and additional line dancing on Wednesday and Thursday night from 6:30PM to 8:30PM. The is karoke starting around 8:30PM on Thursday night. The restaurant will also be open.

There is Top 40 dancing with DJ on Friday night. The cover charge starts at $5.00 and moves upward throughout the night. The cover hits its maximum of $7.00 at 11:00PM.

There will be live music (Richmond band called 'Danger County') on Saturday night. The cover charge starts at $5.00 and moves upward throughout the night. The cover hits its maximum of $7.00 at 11:00PM.

BIG LICK TROPICAL BAR
This facility has a deck with tiki bar, restaurant, and bar inside. There are dart boards. There is never a cover charge.

The owner of Big Lick Tropical Bar has agreed to host a classic rock band (Bugs in the Elevator) with no cover charge for the Carl Spackler Open on Wednesday night. They have also agreed to stay open til 2AM on Wednesday night. Big Lick Tropical Bar has also agreed to provide a southern rock band (Southern Breeze) on Saturday night.
