Driving Directions - POPLAR GROVE to QUALITY INN

The Quality Inn is 24 to 30 minutes from Poplar Grove depending on route taken. We have spent some time putting together very detailed directions. If you follow these directions, you must ignore Poplar Grove Golf Club signs when you see them. Follow these directions word for word. The fastest way is not the most traveled roads. Maps and GPS software could be useless. One particular road opened 5 months ago.

LONGEST TRIP - 30 MINUTES (Garrett and Slick drove this way and can guarantee success)
1. From parking lot turn left out of drive way.
2. Travel down to the 2nd green and turn right onto gravel road at golf cart crossing.
3. Follow gravel road for 2 miles. This road might seem to be the wrong road, but it is correct.
4. At the stop sign go straight. There is a school on your right.
5. At next stop sign turn left onto Route 60 North.
6. Turn left on Route 29 South (cross over highway before turning left).
7. Merge onto Route 29 South. Follow for several miles towards Lynchburg, VA.
8. Exit before Lynchburg at Route 210 West.
9. Make right at bottom of exit and take Route 210 West for 2.5 miles.
10. Make left and hop on Route 29 South Business (Lynchburg Highway).
11. Take Route 29 Business (Lynchburg Highway) for 3 miles crossing over James River.

8. Turn left at Y (or go straight) when road narrows and seems to be the wrong way.
9. Keep driving for 2,500 feet. The road narrows again. Keep going.
10. You should pass a pond on right. You should see the 12th green over your right shoulder.
11. Drive another 1,000 feet until you hit Old Stage Road.
